No consensus yet, and I wouldnt expect one for a few years.....which will happen either when the company goes out of business, or they go mainstream and EVERYONE is buying them.

Just seems to be the way things work on this website.

If I were to do it over again, I would have gone stainless. It depends how long you want to keep the car.

i think you should save up a little extra and get QTP's. They are stainless steel so rust won't be an issue (will evenutally on any ceramic coated header driven in "less than optimal" circumstances...

QTP's are a perfect fit, and were rather easy to install. By far the worst part was getting the old manifolds off!

You will not regret them!

like i said in the thread about the budget stainless ebay headers, that is SS autochrome. they have nice looking products but MANY people have to rework their products due to the headers cracking at the welds. thats in a turbo application where theres additional weight on the headers. but when they arent much cheaper than the proven pacesetters or even edelbrock headers why take the chance?

my ls1 swap car is getting the edelbrock race headers because i like the stepped design.

Never seen the edelbrock race headers, are they coated with a HVMC?

Why do you say that?

What about uncoateds with header wrap? Would that be a good idea? Seems coating wears off for most(just from reading on here) and it would be cheaper to wrap them up. Just curious anyone do this?

EDIT: just did a search, not worth it, potential to catch on fire, and speeds up corrosion. Sorry for making a pointless post before searching
