You cant even eat fish out of the ocean. They said it would happen in the 70's and it has. Polution is real and the results and effects are astonishing, but most are too stupid to understand it. And you know how that goes "ignorance is bliss"

More damage is done to the earth by cars leaking oil, dripping gas, road salt, etc.
I'm not saying that ls1 owners who dump are ruining the environment either, I was just responding to some severe ignorance about the topic. Personaly I dont like the drone.

!cats
The neighbor has 3 of them. They were born under my shed and the moron started feeding them. They sh*t in my yard and concrete drive like a dog. I take that back, I've never had a dog dump on my concrete. They kill virtually EVERY living thing they can and they work together to do it. I've seen one carrying a full grown squirrel by the throat like a lion.
I like the squirrels and I still like cats. I have one in the house, two on my 2001 and one on my 95. The SLP loudmouth on my 01 sounds very nice but I bet it wouldn't with !cats. I'm putting an electric cutout on my 95 with a Hooker catback and figure the cat will keep it from going overboard with the noise when I dump the exhaust before the axle. We have visual inspection here and I need those cats to at least LOOK like they are working.
If everyone went !cats the roadway would be a harsh place to drive. Neighborhoods along busy thoroughfares wouldn't be happy. If people with special permission like collectors delete them, I'm okay with it because I'm trying to get collector plates for my 95. I know, I'm being selfish....
Cars as a whole really do contribute to ozone depletion. Special interest cars do not contribute appreciably. Power plants are the BIG polluters so they're using natural gas to offset the CO2 and heavy metals going up. They are driving the price of natural gas to the point where people are going to lose it all.
Hope I've stayed with the topic here...

Getting rid of cats in the near future. 3 weeks or so. Getting LTs and ORY. About the pollution....being in the military, working on fighters, I can say that in ONE mission, 5 hours, ONE of our jets can burn 270,000 pounds, (yes thats two hundred and seventy thousand POUNDS of jet fuel. Thats ONE JET. ONE FIGHTER. 60,000 lbs of thrust. Try the 80 jets that we fly a day. At this ONE base. Add all that up with all the other bases round the world then dont forget personal and commercial AIRPORTS. Just some usless info on why I am not so worried bout some V-8s. Besides I havent put fuel in my car in over 2 months.......

Honestly, if any of you were concerned about the enviroment you wouldn't be driving an LS1, much less a V8. You would pull a Leonardo DiCaprio and drive a Prius. A few people driving with no cats will make no noticeable difference. If there were only 10 cars on the road and they had no cats, the ozone would not be effected at all. You won't be helping anything by using cats or not using cats. The real problem is the amount of people
