I have had a QTP for about 3 years now. Never skipped a beat. I belive they are the largest maker of electric cutouts with the best customer sevice and track record.

Mine rattled when closed after a couple months, then broke it on a hard launch - I just unbolt it manually now, and carry a ratchet in case I get stopped.

I bought my QTP about 4 years ago, and have had nothing but problems with it. It broke within a week after I installed it the first time. I have fixed it a few times since then, but the last time the damn thing felt apart and I lost the inards on the interstate. Still trying to decided whether I want to give QTP $30 to fix it or just buy a new DMH or McCord.

not that the qtp ones are bad. but i got a mccord and it has been through rain, snow, salt, everything for about a year and hasnt given me any problems. they arent a very big manufacturer and each one is made to order for about the same price as the mass produced QTP ones, dont know which one is better though, probably all the same for the most part.

I had the DMH on my LT1 before I went to true duals. I thought it was a high quality product that was well built. Also, as stated above, it comes with a 4 year warranty. Customer service is also great with DMH.

I think that DMH's cutout might be a little bit more expensive than the QTP cutout.

DMH is top notch in their customer service for sure. I bought a used electric cutout plate on another forum for my LT1 formula, turned out that it wasn't sealing properly and had a slight rattle when closed. I called up Dave @ DMH and told him the situation. He told me to send it up to him and he'd take a look at it. He ended up giving me a completely different referb'd entire assembly at no charge! He even covered shipping it back to me!

So when I got my 99 Z I have now, I ordered one of his 3.5" setups and he got it out to me in just a few days...and waived the shipping again due to my loyalty to his company.

Two thumbs up for DMH, excellent customer service and great products.

Dual 3" DMH cutouts here, for just over a year. I use them all the time, no leaks, no problems. I've been extremely happy with the quality and customer service.
About two months ago, i ran over a dead dog (early in the morning, i was still asleep) and broke the passenger side cutout. I called Dave @ DMH and asked him to look at it, and see if it could be fixed. I shipped it to him, and told him since it was my fault, i'd buy a new one if it was toast. Within a week, i was re-installing it, fixed, at no charge. Yes, the DMH cutouts cost a little more, but IMHO, worth it.
