Default Side Exit Exaust???

Has anyone seen or heard of side exit exaust on any kind of F-body?

The idea looks good in my head, but somthing tells me it'll be a lot harder to do than I'm thinking.

Please let me know what you all think.

Also, it would only be comming from the pass. side of the
car...

Also, has anyone ever seen a headlight conversion kit that makes them more like a camaro, without having to flip up??

you would have little ground clearance once you get out of the under body indentions.

I have seen side pipes on an fbody. It can be done but you lose ground clearance. The system I saw was custom true duals that were dumped before the rear axle and bent out sideways to exit right before the rear tires. I am thinking of going this route but I want to have the body modified so they dont hang so low, so id have to cut holes into the body to get them to work. Not sure if its possible but ive been looking into it for the past few weeks, seeing if its do-able

Personally, you couldn't pay me to take any styling cues from a ford. Why not just bring 'em up through the passenger compartment, have the t'tops cut up with just large enough holes for the pipes, and have them exit out top Like those smart farm boys do to their deisel trucks? UUUGGGHHH!!! I don't know about some of Y'all.

I have true dual's with side exit exhaust similiar to the one on the black ls1 above. the sound is good. also if you have a good exhaust guy clearance wasn't a issue. I go over good sized speed bumps at work and don't have to crawl over them and still not hit. one note though I don't have header's on my car. when I put them on I'm going to go out eh rear as it will be a lot of noise in the cabian. as it is now it isn't bad even crusing down the highway but header's would probly make it to loud.

OOOMG you did not just rag on stacks for diesels.. I will admit a single stack looks plain horrible. But 3 of my friend have some sweet dual stacks centered up behind the cab.... maybe 3 feet between them. then again i live in redneckville. Cant beet the sound or smoke of a diesel w/ stacks. I need to get pics. up.
