EXTERNAL Fuel Pump Recommendations? I have an applicaton where I'm installing an LS-1 in a vehicle that is already set up for an external fuel pump. It has a baffled tank, supply and return lines - so it also is designed to run with a fuel pressure regulator.
Can anyone give me recommendations for an LS-1 compatible external pump that is designed to be used externally to the tank with an FPR?

Re: EXTERNAL Fuel Pump Recommendations? You know I think most in-line fuel pumps will work. I just installed a Bosch fuel pump, originally it would be installed in a tank but it is mounted outside of the take. I did however install a switch to turn it on only when I shoot nitrous. There are many pumps you can use all are around $150 to $250 but if you look in the parts classified section you might find one cheaper. Unfortunately fuel pump questions for the most part go un answered for some reason. I posted a few and got little responses, I resorted to going to other sights to get my information. Re: EXTERNAL Fuel Pump Recommendations? I am using the Aeromotive pump (model 1000) and a Paxton regulator. Not too loud either. I also use the Aeromotive electronic pump controller to run the pump at a slower speed for street driving.
I used a Weldon pump for a long time, but they are insanely loud!

Re: EXTERNAL Fuel Pump Recommendations? I run the Aeromotive A1000 pump and Aeromotive regulator also. Works great for me, and you'll probably never outgrow that fuel pump <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Re: EXTERNAL Fuel Pump Recommendations? I think it all depends on how crazy you want to get. All the inline stuff works pretty good for most applications. I am going to be trying out the new Barry Grant "King Sumo" here in the very near future.
Re: EXTERNAL Fuel Pump Recommendations? The pump controller works great. Now that I am back to running NA, I always run the pump at half speed. Don't really have the need to run at full speed, unless I put some N2O back on there.
It's easy to wire up and works well. Will be helping a friend install one on his ATI car very soon.
