How much will the Hooker hurt me? Catchy title I know. Anyone w/ the 3" hooker catback making 400+ hp to the wheels cam only? Id like to keep this catback after going cam only (torquer 2 or 228R) and would like to think I wouldnt be giving up too much hp over a 3.5" catback or duals. I plan on doing HVMC's and an ORY upstream if this helps.

I just had a Hooker muffler welded into my CME last week and it's very sweet sounding. Nice and mellow but roars at WOT. I can't tell any SOTP power differences between my 3" QTEC and the Hooker. The QTEC was worth 4rwhp @ 5rwtq over my previous Corsa muffler.

I've seen alot of these posts and most reports have been in the 3-5 hp range for the hooker. 15 is the highest I've seen yet.
the a/f could have been off some to lose 15 hp with the hooker.it is very free flowing and sounds great to me and for the money is very hard to beat.with cam only it shouldn't be restrictive at all-maybe 3-5 hp over a cutout.

If its a cheap hooker, then you gotta wonder how many miles shes got on her and possible diseases. The good thing is that a hooker is cheaper than a girlfriend and you get instant results that you want. Love is for losers anyways.
