location of coolant sensor ??????

location of coolant sensor ?????? I keep getting a 'low coolant' light in my dash, yet the coolant level is fine. So I suspect the sensor is kaput.
anyone know where this sensor is located ??

Re: location of coolant sensor ?????? I tried emailing you a picture of the sensor's location, and the email got returned. On my camaro, it looks like it's a couple inches below the fill cap, on the inside, or towards the engine.

Re: location of coolant sensor ?????? You're absolutely right Nate, that is the ECT sensor. I'm not sure where the coolant level sensor is, I've been looking for it, too, in the manuals. Sorry about the wrong information; I made a mistake.

Re: location of coolant sensor ?????? Passenger side of the radiator. There's a c-clip on it, just push it in and pull out...A decent amount of coolant will come out if you didn't drain it. Clean with rubbing alcohol and q-tips. Or jusy unplug the damn thing! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
