The MSD's on my car have been there for 3.5 years and are still working great. Only "complaint" is that they have lost that "click" when you put them on the plug, so I am not certain they are seated.

Using MSD after having Taylor Thundervolt end pull off
during header swap (and same batch were loose enough
to rattle off the plug at high speed, had to find that and
squish the end-clip to get them to stay put. Nowhere
near as tough as the molded-in MSD boot.

I went with the Crane Cams. They were cheap and work good so far. 500 miles with them to date

I currently have Taylor's on mine and they work great. They were on the car when I got it though. I'm an MSD guy and if I need a new set I'll go MSD.

Taylors SUCK ***, they rip off alot. i have some stock truck ones (about an inch longer) if i ever buy new ones i'll get GM performance ones. any thing pricier is just a waste of $$$.

The MSD's are cheaper than the GM performance wires.

I got a set for 50.00 even with a military discount at NAPA.

Also I run NGK TR-55's.

On my 436 stroker there is absolutely ZERO difference in performance between my Taylor 10.4 Thunderbolts and my factory stock wires.

Where is a good place to order MSD wires for an LS1 for a resonable price? Is this the right part number for the wires: MSD-32819

On my last Camaro i had Taylor witres on it and the #8 wire just imploded and burnt the wire but not either end. I was very shocked and upset to find that both boots were secure on the plug and coil but the red wire section was completly burned away and never touch the header. To this day I have no idea of what happened just know not to buy Taylor wires again. MSD is all I will buy from now on.
