Re: Mods.. what next?? Do what i am doing, i am at about the same point, get tuning stuff like atap and ls1edit. You will need them eventually if you keep modding and you will get the most out of what you already have.

What i got goin now is i cut the cats put a Y-pipe on then ran a 3" pipe to stock mufflers.. i dont think i should change the mufflers right? I heard it shounds like **** and too loud. but maybe i should look into some headers? thanx

Re: Mods.. what next?? ATAP is a diagnostic tool (OBDII I believe) for your LS1. I don't know too much about it yet. I will once I get it. You can buy it used for about $200 through the parts classified board here.

Mods.. what next?? Ok... I have a 98 TA with some stuff done to it. I have MAF, exahaust, lid & filter, thats about it on the engine... what should I get next for the most out of my money? should i get a trotle body? or a ls6 intake? I really can not decide whats next. will someone please help and tell me where and what I should get.

Re: Mods.. what next?? If i were you, get some Long Tube headers. You'll see some great gains from them. Then you can correct your a/f ratio with a MAF translator if you richen up.

Re: Mods.. what next?? I just had SLP install the LT headers on my car ... It was a great addition to ... they also installed r.t.cats , Y pipe , duel /duel exhaust . slp lid ,cold air induction 160 stats. . the car is coming together nicely, i can feel the extra power from the headers

Gave my car a slap in the *** for sure. It will probably richen the engine up, and a maft can tune it. BUT, he needs AutoTap in order to see what the engine is doing so he can use the maft. ATAP should be the next thing he gets. Then headers. ATAP should be the first thing anyone buys if they plan to mod their car.
