Saw where LS1 Motorsports has their direct-flo Airlids on sale for $95! Are these good lids?

Ditto those quotes
The only problem I have with mine is that it doesn't APPEAR to seal tightly at the rear (MAF side). But I like the looks and the power increase.

Re: LS1 Motorsports Airlid good lid?
I love my direct flo lid. Their are 2 things I don't like too much though. It doesn't look like it seals off good(which every lid made doesn't seal perfect) and the LS1 Motorsports sticker is comming off of mine I need to order a new one but red this time.

Re: LS1 Motorsports Airlid good lid?
I like my lid as well, but I agree about the back of the filter not sealing well. It looks like the tabs on the back of the lid do not seal well because they don`t go all the way in. Dose your tabs look the same as mine? One more thing to add. I bought some thin weather striping and put it over the seal that came with the K&N, and when I check my filter the weather striping has groves in it from the filter to prove that is sealing. (at least with the very soft and thin weather stripind around the lid and the K&N filter seal) Please let me know if your tabs don`t fit all the way in at the rear.
