Default PSJ or anyone please help!!!!

Ok I have been fighting a random missfire now for months. I changed plugs, wires, fuel filter and still no luck, I got the idea to hool my timing light up the plug wires to see if its in the ignition system. I watched the light and listened to the exhaust and the light would skip a beat evey 10-15 secs on some clyinders. heres what I got. All the cylinders on the left bank had a miss to them. all on the right except the number 8 where fine I don't know what the hell the prob is pleas help <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

.038 for nitrous? That's a pretty tight gap it's going to cause the car to run a bit more rough.

Sometimes a misfire is caused by a car running too rich at idle too... Car is basically loading up a bit. Can always take a MAF T and try to lean out the base a bit and see if it helps.

Just curious, you say its only on one bank. Did you check the ignition coils out? Try swapping sides, see if the problem follows.

How often is the misfire? Do you have a cam? I have a couple at idle while the engine is still warming up to operating temp. Once up to operating temp, it still misfires occasionally at idle though not as much when first running. Probably due to what PSJ said, it's running a little rich at first.

A few misfires at idle are ok, especially with h&c. Once you're on the gas, you shouldn't be getting any and that's what is really important. Idle really shouldn't be a concern unless it's soo bad that the engine doesn't idle smoothly which one every 10-15 seconds doesn't seem to be.

In complete darkness while the car is running see if you can see any arching from wires/plugs/coils...
