Quick Question.. HELP!!
Quick Question.. HELP!! OK I have a 99 SS with a 2002 Crate motoe I just installed Patriot Performance heads, Hardened pushrods, Thunder racing cam, and a LS6 intake...... Ok here is the deal.. The car runs VERY STRONG all the time!! Everything is fine but after I drive it a little ways it sounds like The rockers are loose But there NOT??? But under an idel it is NOT loud only under a load??? What could it be???
If you go to ls1howto.com is says that after an install such as this things are goin to be loud for a while until the car and the comp get use to everything, not to mention its prob goin to feel like it wants to stall out once in a while, i dont know honestly, hope this doesnt happen to me when i install all my crap.
Did you install it yourself maybe you could bring it to the place you got it done ask them. or take it to somebody to check it out if your concerned i wouldnt keep driving it, it might b something major and u could end up screwing up your whole set-up, you know.
I personaly dont know what it sounds like, so im not goin to jump to any conclusion to exactly what it could be. So what i would do is just take to the nearest performance shop and ask, you know it cant help to just ask, im sure u spent alot of time/money into it. Get a second opinion before something if anything else happens, you know.
