Default Weight savings from headers/ORY?

What's the weight diff. from a stock setup of manifolds, cats and y-pipe as compared to a longtube setup with an ORY?

Only reason I ask is because I noticed when I shipped my old manifolds and cats out they weighed a ton, is there any real weight savings there? I have Pacesetters, TSP ORY and Hooker CB

I would have to say it would depend on header choice and TD or ORY (I understand you have ORY but for others that also want to know) and the TD set up would probably yield a 20-25lbs savings and an ORY would yield a 15-20lbs savings. These are guesstimits not facts.

I remember when I installed my Jet-Hots, they were roughtly 14 lbs each, which is less than the stock manifolds. Or was it a total weight savings of 14 lbs... Anyways, yes the aftermarket headers weigh less than your stock manifolds and Y-pipe, assuming you're not getting stainless steel longtubes.

I have Pacesetter LTs with TSP ORY, along with a Hooker CB instead of stock CB, also EGR and AIR have been removed from the car.

i was curious as well so i just weighed a set of flowtech/ory combo and they weighed 45 lbs combined. i weighed stock manifolds, both cats and y and they weighed 59 lbs=only 14 lbs lighter,i thought the difference would have been more but i was wrong.i threw the stock catback away so no weight for it.

i'd say between 33-35 lbs but that is just a guess, the flowtech headers weighed 30-31 lbs with a 1/4 inch flange.
