Re: Will stock injector work on a 382 Stroker? I`m getting MTI S2 heads and X1 cam on mt LS1, I`m putting 30lb injectors because I`m going to run a 100 shot. The stock injectors are 28lb on my 2001 WS6. They can handle around (450RWHP Safely) anymore and you are pushing it. Better to be safe than sorry, also I`m getting a T-Rex fuel pump. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: Will stock injector work on a 382 Stroker? With a 382ci stroker I would at least run a 30lb injector. Sure a 98 injector can be maxed out to handle it, but at what, 110% duty cycle? You are not supposed to run injectors at full duty cycle they get overworked and HOT.

Re: Will stock injector work on a 382 Stroker? Thanks a lot for the info gye's looks like I'll be changing injectors this weekend. I have an intake from a 98 T/A with injectors and all laying in my room.

Re: Will stock injector work on a 382 Stroker? I'm probably wrong on this as it looks like ak motorsports has more exact numbers, but I thought I had read a while back (in late 1999 maybe) that the 98's had 24# injectors and the 99's had 22# injectors.

I've still got the stock 2000 injectors in the 382 but I'm built mild and the car is purely a street toy without any aspirations of being the big dog on the block. Enjoying the instant torque in day in day out use is a pleasure. Could depend on how far you intend to go.
