Hooker Catback?
Hooker Catback? What do you guys think of this system? I thought it sounded pretty good, and not too expensive either. Would long tube headers make a huge difference in the sound of it? Any other opinions? Thanks a lot!
Re: Hooker Catback? Currently I have the Hooker Super Competition Exaust on my 2001 camaro z-28 and I am happy with the results. I am looking into getting the Hooker Super Comp long tube headers for it too. But I am still researching on that one. I'm thinkin it's going to be the best for the money.
Re: Hooker Catback? www.ls1info.com go to downloads and then sounds. They have a few different clips and videos of different hooker setups. They all sound pretty sick.

I put on the hooker lt's and ORY a couple weeks ago and let me tell you it sounds AWESOME!!!! with stock manifolds and y pipe the hooker catback is relativly quiet(until about 2500 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> ) My suggestion, get the hooker catback. Then step up to a real exhaust with some lt's and get rid of those pesky cats <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: Hooker Catback? I have the Hooker catback too. It looks very nice and it has a traditional throaty V8 sound. It's a little too quiet for my tastes though. It's a different story with headers and !cats though.

Re: Hooker Catback? The Hooker Catback is a good deal. The price is right and you get a nice deep tone. It is a little quiet at idle for me also but that is why I am saving for LT's. At WOT she screams!

Re: Hooker Catback? I just install mine about 4 days ago and I love it. My car is all stock except new Lid. Sound is much better at idle and then gets nasty above 2500rpm or so! Great Bang-For-The-Buck.
