Default Video of Flo-Pro Twister mufflers dumped off the collectors

I recently changed my exhaust setup from an ORY and catback to just the Edelbrock stepped headers, Flo-Pro Twister mufflers, then dumps right after. Enjoy

Thanks. I have never seen your car around Manhattan, and I cruise through there a lot.

No X pipe. Edelbrock Stepped 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 header with 3.5" collector, 3.5"-3" reducer, Flo-Pro Twister 3"in/3"out muffler, then turndown. I am going to take the reducer-back off and have it all ceramic coated at our local shop.

A local race shop here in town that fabricates cages, motor plates, exhausts, etc. I am friends with the owner, Dave. I don't want to post their name as they are not a sponsor, but they are here in New Lenox.

Is it ok to run it dumped off the collectors like that? Lose any power or anything cuz I sure as hell didnt. And I have the exact same setup jus with pacesetter LT's and SLP loudmouths. And it sounds mean as hell and honestly dont wanna pay for an x-pipe because it seems to be good as is.

There are plenty of people that have done it before and have not had a problem. I did not lose anything from going this route, but can't really tell if I gained anything either until I get it back on our dyno.

It was $25 for the pair of reducers, $80 for the pair of mufflers, $30 for the pair of turndowns, and $100 to weld all of it and install it. So $235 for all of it, minus the headers which were $400.

Well what's the verdict? Is it louder this way than when you had the twisters in the duals?
