Default these 2 exhaust..which one

i know its been beaten to death..lol.. but between the magnaflow and gmmg..which sounds better with longtubes, ory? which one is really loud at start up, deeeepppp rumble at idle, and sick at cruise. it seems like a toss up between the 2.

depends everyone has different tastes. Personally I like the sound of the chambered GMMG but it often needs cats else it goes a little raspy.

Stainless works offer a similar chambered exhaust that is a tad quieter.

The SLP LM has a similar sound to the GMMG but perhaphs a little more raw, again cats work well with it.

Magnaflow has a totally different sound and is much more sedate at lower rpms.

yeah, the GMMG sounds good, and its definately loud, but as mentioned, add a ORY and it gets raspy. The Magnaflow is totally different. It is more refined and mellow. Neither of these would I describe as being really deep.

im sure they both sound good. i ran loudmouth on my old setup and yes it was loud but it wasnt clean. so i guess you can say i would want a catback just as loud but alot cleaner. i was also looking into hooker catback too..

I had not heard the gmmg in person, but after reading a ton of posts on this site I decided to buy it. Got it installed about 1 week ago. I am amazed at how it sound, and how many compliments I have gotten already. Well worth the money in my opinion. Loud and deep at start up, and it's unbelivable at WOT.

Notice that guy has a catted-Y and GMMG. If youre going with an ORY, it will be very raspy, and will defeat that "clean" sound youre looking for.

Good trade off man! I still love the GMMG to death. Even sounds good on a v6.

ive got magnaflow catback and i personally like the tips but to each their own. I have Pacesetter LT's and ORY. I cant speak for the GMMG but i dont think you would be too dissapointed with the magnaflows and have a couple extra bucks left over for the next big thing. Its pretty loud to me but again thats all opinion as well.

The Inside of the car Sound Of GMMG is so Silent just PURS like a LITTY. OutSide it has prolly the Best Tuned muscle sound to it. When Crusing or WOT or IDLE. My car Atm has Stock Manifolds

This Exhaust Gives the best of both

Heard MF it was preety good . But my PREFRENCE was With GMMG

I have the Magnaflow and I really like the sound. People compliment that it's not too loud yet has a good WOT roar. The tips are a personal preference. I can see why some would not like them, but if you have chrome wheels the situation changes entirely. The tips carry the look of the car out the back.

Sound is nearly stock at idle and obviously gets louder as you go.
