Default Is my exhaust just wrong?????

For car in my sig:

I need to get my exhaust re-done next week. I have 3" pipes off my collectors. Into a custom "Y" with a single 3" pipe all the way back to a 3" MagnaFlow muffler.

Shouldn't I have 3" pipes off the collectors into say a Flowmaster merge (3" inlets, single 4" outlet), into a 4" MagnaFlow muffler, than out the tailpipes.

OR

3" pipes off the collectors into say a Flowmaster merge (3" inlets, single 4" outlet), into TWO 4" bullet mufflers.

I think true duals are out of the question for 3" pipes all the way back and over the axles, I don't think they'll make it overthe axle because I'm lowered.

Ideas?

4in is going to be hard to get over the axle without some more suspension mods

nothing wrong with doing a 3.5 exhaust.

flowmaster makes a 3x3x3.5 merge.

My vote would go with a 3" y pipe with the 3"-4" flowmaster merge collector then to a 4" cutout

Well, I think its a must to use the 4" from the merge to the muffler, if it'll fit over the axle I'll do it. But this buy at the muffler shop said he can't bend a 4" pipe with the equipment he has

I have to use 3" pipes off the collectors don't I? The collectors are 3".

How about a true dual 3" off each collector, through an "H" or "X" and over the axle with a bullet on each.....will it get much louder than it is now?

You have a 4" going over the axle? Are you lowered at all?
