Loudmouth owners inside please When I shift into second gear from first at full throttle it is smacking the floorboard. Sounds like it is coming from the piece going over the axle. I only had about a half-inch of clearance over the lower PHR as it was and maybe 3/4 from the top. Are the clearances that tight on all of your exhaust as well? How much clearance do you guys have? The car is lowered pretty far but that shouldn't matter if the stock exhausts didn't bump right? I know the pipe is bigger but it's only a 1/4". What can I do? I've played with it every which way and I never have any better clearance and if I do the tips are all funky. I'm lost.

Re: Loudmouth owners inside please The tolerances are tight on my system, but I've had no issues with rubbing or the exhaust smacking the floorboard. My car is at stock ride height though.....

Re: Loudmouth owners inside please i am stock ride height as well, but i am planning to lower soon, if i were you i would go back under the car and assumeing you used the clamps, I would loosen all them up and move the pipes around some then tigten them back up. and see if that solves your problem, also check and make sure the hangers are all in and in well.

Re: Loudmouth owners inside please It has to be the LM. I ran it before I installed it and one hour later after I installed it and it has done it everytime since then. I went from a cutout to the LM so I don't think it's the extra power

) I have bad clearance over the axle. I just bought relocation brackets so if it's that, which it shouldn't be, that will take care of the lowering problem. I'm about ready to say F#$% it and go to open headers! <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />
