It sounds so nice....EXACTLY like what I invisions driving an Indi car or a Winston Cup car.....werrrrrrrr werrrrrrrr <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />
I am never even thinking of giving up my Z28 now <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Its not near as loud as my loudmouth/gutted cats/factory manifolds but it sounds GOOOD!!!
Anyways.....if anyone is considering going this route, all I can say is DO IT!!!!!!! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

<strong>I cannot find for sale and everyone in town said they cannot make it....</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I used the Dr. Gas X-pipe on my car. It comes with 5 parts:
1 x-pipe
2 before 'x' pipes (45 degree bend in each)
2 after 'x' pipes 45 degree bend in each)
It was just a matter of cutting the pipe to the length and welding it up. Any muffler shop could do that. Then just have them slip the bullet mufflers on the end of the "after 'x' pipe".

I had a 2 day window between when I installed my x-pipe and the muffler shop could run pipes out the back). I like loud (open headers sounded NICE <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" /> ), but the drone was painful. I could only drive about 3 or 4 mins before my head started to hurt from the drone inside the car <img border="0" alt="[whiner]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cry.gif" /> .
What I did was have the shop run two pipes out under the axle to the rear of the car and weld 3.5" slash cut tips on. From behind, it looks "stock" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> ....but it does not sound "stock" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

<strong>under the axle??? or do u mean they made a bent pipe to go over the axle like stock???</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">under....ground side of the axle <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> .....its no lower than the mufflers will be and it alows you to run two pipes out the rear.
The only way to run the pipes OVER the axle is to either run both on the drivers side (tight fit) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> or to remove the panhard rod mount support (the brace above the panhard rod) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> . I tried remaking the brace in hopes of running the pipes over AND having the brace.....no luck <img border="0" alt="[whiner]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cry.gif" /> .
note: I'm not talking about the panhard rod!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> ...too many people have miss read that when I have talked about it before and said "YOU CANT REMOVE THE PANHARD ROD!!!".... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> "I KNOW!!!!". Thats like saying "YOU HAVE TO PUT THE BOLTS IN THE MOTOR MOUNTS!!!" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
