Muffler or full cat back system?
Thanks
<strong>Does the Hooker catback go all the way to the cats and replace the pancake pipe on the driver side? <img border="0" alt="[Corvette]" title="" src="graemlins/corvette.gif" />

Just some ideas.
Also, though this system flows well, it doesn't much matter when you keep the cats on the car... like I said, even the 350 cfm Flowmaster 80 can outflow cats and make power over the stock muffler.

Thanks for all the input.
Buying a whole new exhaust with .25" larger pipe is a total waste of money. You gain just as much from a good flowing muffler... Dyno proven. Even the sorry flowing Flowmaster 80 series outflows the cats and gives you just as much a power increase as any other until you get into mods and remove the cats.
IMO the stock pipes are plenty until you get into mods like heads and cam w/orp. Personally, after I get to those mods I won't waste my $$$ on .25" larger pipe. I'll go to a 4" Mufflex or duals.
Just get the muffler. You'll make as much power, sound as good, and for a whole lot less dough.
I have $140 in my exhaust and have been on the dyno with guys have many times that in their exhausts and made as much/more power than all of them with similar mods. (Lid, paper filter, & muffler) That $140 INCLUDED professional install too!
Good luck
Dave
Sound clip of a Dynomouth exhaust in my sig. More on page 2 of my website.
