SLP Dual/ Dual Exhaust
I am buying the setup this weekend. Does it sound good in person I heard the exhaust clips and it sounds pretty good. Has anyone ran this cat back before? Thoughts and opions would be awesome!! I currently have an 01 z/28 no headers or anything. I plan on adding them sometime in the future. Thanks guys!!

Mine came with the D/D and I really like it. The longer I run it, the better it sounds. Thought about a GMMG, but figured it would be too loud for a vert. Also, it polishes up real nice.

It came stock on many SS's.... so I'd imagine so.
It's the most quiet catback you can possibly buy. Too quiet for some (including myself), but just right for others. Sounds great with LTs and an ORY because it picks up volume and throatiness. One of the better-flowing catbacks on the market and it's stainless steel, so you really can't beat it. Check out LS1sounds.com for plenty of soundclips on it.

great for a DD and doesnt draw to much attention. with stock exhaust it will be a little on the quiet side until you get headers though. i love mine i had a gmmg type setup before and it was way to much and drew the wrong attention . gmmg with cats though would be another story

It's a very free flowing exhaust, stainless steel and I like the fact that it has several hangers to keep it in place so it's not jumping all over the place when the engine is running. It's a great catback to have if you plan on running LT's, ORY and a H/C package in the future because it won't get too loud. For your current mods though, I would imagine it to be on the quiet side.

I've been through stock w/cutout, borla, loudmouth, SLP 2OTL, and now a dual/dual.
I just got tired of having the car draw loads of attention everytime i gave it a tiny amount of gas.
The dual/dual is loud enough on my car (408/headers/ORY) to be able to hear the exhaust at cruising with the windows down if I want to, I can turn up the radio and not hear the exhaust at all, and it has a good audible level at WOT. AND, it flows well enough to make 460-470ish to the tires through the catback.

I agree...the sound was verrrrrrrrry quiet. I switched out the tips for 18" stainless pieces and it made a small difference but longtubes will take care of that.
