good bolt ons for 02 SS

good bolt ons for 02 SS My mom has an 02 SS 6 speed and i was looking at adding a few bolt ons to it. what are some good bolt on that i can do that wont make the car louder? she doesnt want it louder so a catback system is out of the question. and i am already gettin a skip shift eliminator and a K&N type filter. what else would be relatively cheap yet effective?
Re: good bolt ons for 02 SS Well, lets see. In order of price: Free Ram air mod, other free mods, Lid, ported TB, FTRA, and a Z06 or SLP MAF. (Honestly I'm not sure its in the exact order of price <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> ) None of these seem to make a whole lot of noise though. You could just have a cut out put in and only un-cap it when your mom isn't around <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

yeah a cutout would be nice to have. i may be able to talk her into an exhaust if i can find one without a lot of interior resonance, she hates driving my truck with the 40 series flowmaster <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> . i say the louder the better but she doesnt, oh well, at least they have a somewhat aggressive sound from the factory.

I personally like Whisper the best, I've had mine for over three years now on two different LS1s and it's still perfect <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> Direct-Flo would be my next brand choice.
As was said above, you could do MAF ends, or a full aftermarket MAF, a ported TB, and maybe look into some of the ram air kits like from Fast Toys or SLP.

Its prob the Best HP gaining exhaust that is very quiet.
Get a B&M, i think every 6-spd should have one.
I like the K&N FIPK or the stealth intake, i didn't want to be a guy with just another lid.

Re: good bolt ons for 02 SS id love to put some gears in it, that could actually be a possibility. when i put 4.56s in my truck she actually liked it better and i almost have her convinced on them. just need the $$ to do it.
