Need Help Installing Crank Pulley!!!!
i just used a impact gun and it put mine on there just right
We've tried a 2x4 with even pressure applied at the top and bottom and hitting it with a hammer in the middle. Thats not working now.
it would go on just enough to stay in place, but the stock bolt wouldnt thread on there to pull the pulley on

I just made a Home Depot / Lowes run and they didnt have anything long enough. They had the 2.0mm thread but not a bolt long enough.

I ended up getting the pulley started on as best I could, made sure it was straight. Then I used a 15lb sledge and lightly tapped the pulley in the center. It went RIGHT on with that method. Just make sure it's on straight before you start pounding on it.
pitch is 16x2, does have to be threaded all the way up, just the first 1.5-2", but it just hase to be longer than the stock one, get a bunch of washers as well, like 10-15 of them to use as a spacer so you dont thread too far into the crank
total price was like 6 bucks for mine

hope this helps Johnny
PS>>grind down the washer part of stock bolt
<strong> You could try warming it up in an oven. </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">We have a winner <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
I used exactly this method to put my ATI one. Cold, it wouldn't go on more than half an inch. 30 minutes at 350°, a pair of oven mits, and it slid all the way on with zero force. let it cool, and run through the torque sequence in the manual. A torch will work as well, but careful of the rubber in the damper itself.
