I'm glad to hear that you're putting together a lid for the 85 mm MAF. Please let us know what your progress is!

I am going to be getting a lid and saw this new lid you guys have. Do you have the dyno or track time results. If anyone has tried it out let me know what you think of it.

Thanks

I put mine on today. Good quality product. I am going to dyno at the end of the month so I will post results. It looks like it will allow a greater volume of air in from the design. Even if it diesnt prove any significant hp gains over a direct flow, you havent lost anything. The lid is the same price and same build quality

Talked to Trevor the other day, he said he should have some dyno numbers posted today. Looking forward to see the results.

if anyone has some clear smoked pics please postem up

i just sold my TNT kit and now i have 2 holes in the back of my lid... i can plug them but that might affect the air flow a bit(gotta have some excuse)

if someones bored some with trevors lid and one with your before comparsions would be nice on the same night/day

I am sorry to disappoint, but we were not able to get on a dyno this weekend. Long story short, there were some "issues" with getting a time slot. So, we're taking my car, as well as another one, to Dallas this Friday to get dyno results. This way you'll have results on a heads/cam car, too. Again, I really apologize for the delay. There is only one dyno in our area, and it's 140 miles away. It's very frustrating when you have a dyno but it's still sitting in the box waiting on the new shop to be finished! We won't have this problem when our new shop is open at the end of April/beginning of May.

Justin, we'll have the clear, smoked clear, and black lids at the Shootout, so feel free to stop by, take a look, and pick one up.

As for the website, we're working on it hard and should at least have the LS1 part of it up and running this week. I could only wish that we were on vacation! We are entering thousands of aftermarket parts into the database, so that is a little time-consuming. We really do appreciate everyone's patience.

Trevor

Are you going to extend the 89.99 sale until you get on the dyno. It's only fair man. Let us know.

Lynda - Yes, we are aware that the Spring Break Shootout has been rescheduled. We will still be there with a vendor booth open, and we plan to have quite a few of all of our lids available to buy then.

Since I will not be at the shop on Saturday to take orders for the lids, we will be extending the introductory special on the black lids. I will post the cut-off date when I post the results up.

As for the status on the 85mm lids, it's only been four days since I posted it up. It will be another week or so before I have one in my hands to test out. The first priority is to get the clear and smoked clear lids finished. Hopefully the manufacturer will ship the prototype 85mm lid with the stocking order of clear and smoked clear lids. I will keep you posted as I receive information.

Thanks!

Trevor

I am very interested in the 85mm package. If you could sell the lid, 85MM stock calibrated MAF without screen and connector to the stock throttle body I am in hehehe
Cheers,
Chris
