Nice numbers <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Looking forward to the 85mm lid, MAF, coupler dyno results <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Should test in comparision to your current lid <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Cheers,
Chris

The special pricing of $89.99 for the black lids and $129.99 for the clear and smoked clear lids will be good through this Friday, March 14th. So long as you e-mail or call me by 6:00 pm CST on Friday, you will be able to get in on the special pricing. I should have some lids here by Thursday afternoon. As soon as they arrive, I will start calling and e-mailing those of you that are on my list. The regular price for the black lid will be $129, and the clear and smoked clear lids will be $149.
Eddie - The chrome lids will not be available for another few weeks. I will keep everyone informed as they progress.
Chris - I will have a prototype 85mm lid on Thursday to test out. Once I give it the okay, they will then go into production. It should be 2-3 weeks on them, if not sooner. We will definitely do some dyno comparisons with a few different packages on a stock-internal LS1.
FYI, my car is running the MAF ends that come with the Nitrous Express Gemini Twin system. They're basically a set of ported MAF ends.
Thanks!
Trevor

A) How much $$$$ will a black lid cost with the 85 MM sizing????
B) How are you designing the 85 MM lid? Will the MAFS fit directly into the opening? Or, will modify your stock lid, and plastic-weld a coupling on to the end of the lid? I'd like to see a 85 MM lid which allows the MAFS to fit into a flared opening at the end on the lid. This way, the air would flow directly into the 85 MM MAFS without any restrictions. In other words, the exterior diameter of the 85 MM MAFS would be completely flush with the air intake tube....I hope that makes sense!
C)Please test your lid on a bone stock car if at all possible. I'd like to see a comparision with the stock lid vs. the Direct-Flo and the stock lid vs. your lid!

I had mine ordered today, I wonder if I will be the first intown with this new lid. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
Looks like a improved design over my current lid, and for 89.99 its worth a shot.

This lid looks real good above all other lids that i've seen. I have one question though how would u compare ur lid to let's say the volant cold air induction? I bought the volant and i've seen many guys just buy the lid, i've been wondering if i made a mistake. What do u think?

Re: New LS1 Induction for F-bodies!
I want to see dyno numbers comparing the stock air box to this lid on a stock car. Also, they need to be posted by someone not affiliated with Texas Speed and Performance. Isn't anybody else interested in this.
