Default LS2 plugs wires better fit?

Im wondering if the LS2 plugs wires are a better fit for longtube headers than stock LS1 wires? Would it make it easier to change out plugs with the LS2 wires? TIA guys

I like mine. A few of them kind of rub the headers on the little pull-off tabs but it doesnt do damage other than a little crusty spot. The wires are longer, so you can orient the coil boot to keep the main part of the plug end off of the header.

Plus I got them for $20.50 on eBay.

Don't do it, they look like junk on the LS1/LS6. There to long and bend out to far, actually the LS2 wires are a worse fit for headers than the LS1 wires. I tried a set when I put my KOOK's on, took them back off and returned them. You can get the LS1/LS6 wires in red or the original color, they actually fit perfect with headers anyways.

i only wanted them for the 90 degree bends. don't they help clear the header better?

Not at all, wish I would have taken pictures so you could see. With them being longer, it actually makes them rest on the headers. I bought them for the same reason you wanted them. Once I tried some of them on, and saw the way they looked, I took them right back off. Use the stock ones and a set of cool socks (that set fits real nice).

Agreed, i did the same thing thinking that they would fit better with my kooks but they actually were worse. Spend a little extra money and get some msd wires. Or use the good old stock ones. Good luck

like was said above that because of the angle they will touch the header more than the stock does. Im using a combination of both so that way no wires touch at all.

Can anyone else confirm that the LS2 wires are not good to use on a LS1 with headers?

I have the Ebay LT headers, and the front one on the pass side touches the header (stock wires)
