Dyno #s on new lid... Jason99TA?
<strong> I was just curious as to how the dyno test went with the new lid. Thanks for sharing! </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">We haven't done any testing on the lid yet. Jason got the lid for the 85mm MAF and he runs a stock MAF. Trevor is sending out another lid right now. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

<strong> I dyno'ed my car with the stock lid that was modified with the resonator still on, Then ran another run right after it (3 mins later) with a aftermarket lid and only picked 3 RWHP. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Whats your point?

I know they do, since I gained 2 hp on the dyno when I took out my filter, but I think gains with lids will best be shown at the track where the effect is maximized since the car is moving. If someone does 3 fairly consistent 1/4 mile runs with a direct flow and 3 fairly consistent runs with the new lid, averages them, and compares the results, then I'd say that's some good data, but everything else is just speculation to me. I'm not saying I don't trust the sponsors, but when they come out with an improvement, I'd like to see some real data before I throw my money into it, even if it is only a $100 lid.
