Question How do you guys rate these headers

http://www.gravanatuning.com/applica...IGNITION_WIRES
I`m thinking on these, cause I haven`t much room for anything else.

Input appreciated
Thanks
Pete

Most will tell you that shorties don't net much gains. What kind of "room" are you talking about. LT's should fit fine in your GTO?

lol not a GTO mate, a Vauxhall Astra Coupe ................

Have look here .... https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversions-swaps/460867-ls1-into-vauxhall-astra-coupe.html

This is the room I have, note the flange of the standard cast header, ok, the body work has to be trimmed to tidy, but, there`s not much room for anything but shorties.

that sucks having to have put shorties on your ls1 swap... but if you must

those are rather expensive shorties as well, and they all practically flow the same

Kind of like the aftermarket lid for an LS1. A lid is a lid. A shorty is a shorty. Minimul gains between brands IMO. Those look fine if you can make the fit. If the stock manifold fits why not just use those unless you want something that looks a little better.

any shorties will be better than stockers...never heard of those...would get a name brand though--never now how these other companies will compare unless you can see them...try Edelbrock maybe.

Ouch... Yeah not much room there. Shorties will probably only get you a good apearance gain. Those are expensive as well... If cost is not a problem I would take the shorties and concentrate on the rest of the build, otherwise your stock manifolds will flow around the the same. Probably looking at most a 5-10 hp difference over the two.

Pacesetter makes shorty headers at a reasonable price. You can even get them coated and they should be under $380.00.

I paid under $380.00. This is before shipping. Yes they are coated, inside and out. I did not buy them directly from Pacesetter. PM for more info.
