Question Got Work Done Now Fan Stays On After I Stop?

This week I had my LTs, Y, Catback, Gears, NGK55s, PCM Tune all done. I got rid of all the EGR/AIR crap and fixed those codes. Now when I drive the car for more than like 10minutes my fan stays on for a couple minutes after I cut the car off. Its really loud and sounds kinda janky to pull up somewhere like that lol. Any idea why its doing it now? Never did before no matter how long I drove it

You can tune your car to run the fans for a pre-set number of seconds if the coolant is above x degrees when you shut the car off....your tuner probably set it up. I have mine running for 2 minutes after shutoff if the coolant is above 190 degrees.

Yeah it's in the tune. Mine stay on a little after the car is turned off too. Maybe only 15 seconds on mine.

It's good for when you're sitting in the staging lanes, too.

Ok prob the tune. i guess it depends on the temp because yesterday it stayed on about a minute then tonight it only stayed on about 15 seconds. My car sits at the halfway mark on the coolant. 210* i believe it is.

As long as the fans come off there are no issues. Now if the fans stayed on all night...
