Default LS6 PCV Conversion Idea

Typically when you do the LS6 PCV conversion, you put a plug in the drivers side valve cover and a plug on the passenger's side rear tube on the valve cover. What about just connecting the two with a piece of 3/8" hose? That way you wont have to buy any plugs and it might help to equalize the pressure between the two banks. This is what I was planning on doing unless there is somethign wrong with it that I'm not aware of. Thanks!

Well it's not so much equalization as it is not having to buy plugs. I have 3/8" tubing lying around that I can use.

i see....i used a plastic plug i got form a hardware store, so i wouldnt have to buy the GM one

what i have is the ls6 pvc conversion.Now The way i hooked it up is the best possible way and works great..Hook the valley cover(ls6 pvc port)to the intake manifold behind the throttle body like you normally would..Then put a plug on the passenger side valve cover on the front port.Then take the tube that goes from the throttle body and hook it up to the old pvc line,the one that goes to the rear and connects both valve covers..

If you can understand that you now have the engines vacuum pulling the vapors from the ls6 pvc cover,and fresh air going down both valve covers at the rear.. if poeple want a drawing i will put one up..

What's the purpose of the hose that goes from the TB to the valve cover, not the PCV, the other one? Does it push air into the block, or suck air out of the block, or neither?

fresh air for the pvc system...if the motor was sealed you'd suck the seals out of it
