Default LTs+ TSP y-pipe = no safty loop ?

Just got done puting both on and let me tell you i wouldnt buy that y-pipe ever again it is to tight and a pain in the *** to make it all fit together right !!! Ok how come i cant get my driveshaft loop to fit i had to take it off becouse it was hitting the Ypart where it comes in the 3in going to the muffler The factory little flimsy piece after the trans mount wont fit either Do i even need a piece there or is that little flimsy peice needed for some gay suspension mod? It looks like if it is ok i will probally have to sell the safty loop and leave nothing there enless someone chimes in and tells me stop you need to find a way to put it on lol.

Welcome to the world of Fbody Exhaust.

I assume your talking about the stock tunnel brace? I threw that against the wall. One because mine was so flimsy it was doing ****, and 2 because it wouldnt fit.

I dont know whats wrong with your Y-Pipe, picture's would help. But I could fit a Drive Shaft Loop easily in mine. I got the ArmourCoated Pacesetters and PaceSetter Y-pipe.

I've alot of times to get Y-pipes to work perfect on Fbodies you have to cut a small part out of areas and basically just get it to fit perfect. I di dnt have to do this on mine, I kinda just bolted mine on with a few buddies and it worked out perfect. Meh...just look around and see if you can find anywhere to adjust the Y-Pipe, I had to do minimal banging to get mine to clear without hitting the floor. The Drive Shaft Loop SHOULD fit, like I said just play around with it and you will figure it out in time.

I have it now about to where it wont hit the floor to bad. I spent 2 hours underneath there trying to get that pos y-pipe to fit farther up on the headers but it wont seem to move anymore after alot of beating lol. it is hitting the bottom of the y and the stem on teh loop is hitting the side of the y so it is hitting in 2 spots right now so as we speak it is off my car and im trying to get some info on how much does it do for actual strenght for the tunel im guessing none? I know i would rather have the loop with the 9in and its a stock cast iron driveshaft instead of aluminum. I think it is going to take alot to twist that stock iron driveshaft but i could be wrong !

I dont know if these will help but on the second pic you can see the holes for the loop and then you can see the y-pipe and you can see where it is. i have been beating on it with a rubber mallet lol. and on one pic you can see where i couldnt get the the one side of the y- but 2 inches on the header itself. I still dont think 2 inches is going to help hitting the driveshaft loop. By the way it is a SLP driveshaft loop.
