LTs+ TSP y-pipe = no safty loop ?
Welcome to the world of Fbody Exhaust.
I assume your talking about the stock tunnel brace? I threw that against the wall. One because mine was so flimsy it was doing ****, and 2 because it wouldnt fit.
I dont know whats wrong with your Y-Pipe, picture's would help. But I could fit a Drive Shaft Loop easily in mine. I got the ArmourCoated Pacesetters and PaceSetter Y-pipe.
I've alot of times to get Y-pipes to work perfect on Fbodies you have to cut a small part out of areas and basically just get it to fit perfect. I di dnt have to do this on mine, I kinda just bolted mine on with a few buddies and it worked out perfect. Meh...just look around and see if you can find anywhere to adjust the Y-Pipe, I had to do minimal banging to get mine to clear without hitting the floor. The Drive Shaft Loop SHOULD fit, like I said just play around with it and you will figure it out in time.
I'd be running headers and a Y pipe before I had a 9 Inch but thats just me. But yea loop for sure

I dont know if these will help but on the second pic you can see the holes for the loop and then you can see the y-pipe and you can see where it is. i have been beating on it with a rubber mallet lol. and on one pic you can see where i couldnt get the the one side of the y- but 2 inches on the header itself. I still dont think 2 inches is going to help hitting the driveshaft loop. By the way it is a SLP driveshaft loop.
