Bullet vs. Magnaflow Muffler Hey guys,
The car I just got said it had the following:
* MAC off Road y-pipe
* Dyno Max Bullet
so I assume the bullet is the muffler. I noticed it is rather loud in the convertible while driving. Would this be significantly quited down if changing to magnaflow or borla? What about performance?

that was my exact setup: Macs with ORY and dynomax bullet. it was VERY loud and raspy/obnoxious. I switched to a Borla XR-1 bullet #40085 and no more rasp and it's more managable to drive now.

If you already have a bullet, it shouldn't take any good exhaust shop more than 20 min to swap the mufflers out if you don't have the tools to do it yourself. The Borla will be a lot quieter at cruise and idle, but when you get on it, it will still be loud. It will also be a LOT deeper than the bullet, and have a much better tone to it. You won't be disappointed.
