Dumps I am having tons of trouble with the POS Pacesetter Y pipe and have officially been fed up with it. I bought the mufflex bump stop and still didnt fix the proplem. I dont know if it is just my particular car or what. I know some people dont even have a problem with it. So I was looking into just getting rid of all the rest of the exhaust and getting dumps. I have not found anywhere on here an actual price of how much it would cost to do this. I was thinking and hoping that I would be able to just buy it from somewhere, but no go. I know its going to be loud, but I dont care about that. Would a exhaust shop have to make it? It would be great if someone wants to sell theirs or trade for my y and some dough. Anyone have any solutions?

400 bucks....that sucks. Maybe if I beat them in a best two out of three in rock, paper, scissors we could cut a deal. It would probably be cheaper to have a shop do it and just sell the y pipe and bump stop.

I got lucky with the GTO exhaust since its pretty straight all the way back and already duals, so no y-pipe. we have a great muffler shop in town that did my work, I would look for someone like that who can fab something up.

One thing to consider would be putting a bullet type muffler on the end of your y-pipe, which will allow you to lower the car without worrying about clearance. I have a moroso spiralflow on the end of my y pipe and it sounds like sex, plus it'll save you a few bucks. If you think a y-pipe is a pain in the *** to fit right duals might not be your cup of tea.
True duals are a great setup, but I bet if you took that y-pipe to a shop they could probably tweak it for you. I'm just saying don't give up on something because it doesn't fit like it should, that's how modding goes, some poly motor mounts would also probably fix your problem.
