I have 2.5" over the axel set-up and one of the sponsors on here basically told me that I wont really be hurt HP wise until I start dipping into high HP ranges. Im guessing you can expect to lose a few HP with a H/C package but I dont think its anything to worry about. Shud have been getin my car tuned/dynoed saturday but they cudt squeeze me in

I don't think it's so much will crush bends loose HP, but more like limit potential.
Not sure what rwhp you are putting out, but you are probably reaching where a 3" Y pipe is becoming a restricition.
2.5" duals flow significantly more than a 3" Y, so even with crushed bends you will likely see more potential. Although I suspect most of your gains would be from swapping the Hooker catback out. I'm not really a fan of the Hooker. Straight thru bullets on a dual setup will flow better regardless.
If you where nearing 500rwhp I think it should be more of a concern. But remember there have been many people who have sucessfully made well over 650rwhp still using a 3" Y.
So in short, if you're happy to go for crushed bends then I really wouldn't worry all that much. Maybe go 3" tubing where it's being crushed that way you'll retain a good pipe diameter.

^ If your making 370rwhp with a Y-pipe now and then install the 2.5" true dual set-up your talking about, you can expect your HP to only increase. You can't go wrong with a 2.5" over the axel. No ground clearance issues, awesome sound, flows better than Y, and fabrication price isn't through the roof.
