again, if you wanna run a y-pipe setup and are concerned about rasp, you have two options: switch to the SLP dual/dual or run cats. if you don't like these, go true duals. running a y-pipe setup on an aluminum block with a wacky firing order, being completely unwilling to run cats THEN bitching about rasp...well, you may as well shoot yourself in the foot while we're on the subject of pointless and bad things to do.
i'll never understand it
i'm trying to help you here. i'm giving you the real solution to your problem. if you get the bullet done, you'll still have rasp and be over $100 in the hole. for a little bit more, you'll have the real solution to your problems. i urge you to take my and others in this thread's advice and weld cats into your ORY. they're only $80/each for bullet cats that will fit nearly anywhere and won't hurt ground clearance, tone or horsepower much at all, but will help cure your rasp problem. take the advice, do the smart thing. if not, again, you're patching a bullet wound with a band aid. best of luck to you. 1.) add cats
2.) get an SLP dual/dual catback
3.) go true duals
those are your three options to remove rasp. if you're not willing to do them, don't complain about the rasp. i tried.
