Default Difference between FAST 90mm and NW 90mm?

Hey, in January/February i will be purchasing a FAST intake and a TB, but im wondering what the difference was between the NW and FAST. The FAST looks better from as far as i can tell but id rather have go than show so i just wanted to see if there was performance gains between the two? Thanks,
-Ryan

i wouldnt say that there is really any performance difference, it is just that the fast tb has had issues with them sticking open...i have a nw 90 and have had nothing but good from it. just my .02.

The FAST was supossedly updated, but I wouldn't chance it. The NW has never had ANY problems. The only thing neat about the FAST is the machining work on the top.

No performance gains, but do you really want to chance the FAST TB sticking open? One of our mods lost a motor thanks to it IIRC.

Ya i love the design of the top of the TB but not a chance id risk the sticking open of the TB blade for that so ill def go with the NW. Thanks alot guys.

I've had a fast 90mm since they first came out and never have had a problem! I've heard of the problem about them sticking, but mine has been perfect!

I have 2 friends, one has a NW 90mm, never an issue the car runs high 10's and on its way to mid to low 10's N/A. The other bought a 78mm (the smaller one) FAST, never an issue either running 11.99 cam only. Although I do like the machining work on the FAST, NW is just polished to a mirror finish.

Are you guys talking about the logo on top of the FAST? I never put one on mine because I figured most would like it plain.

Go with a NW on the 90 intake. The FAST is trouble. They may have gotten it fixed but for what they charge it shouldn't have been a problem to begin with.

It didn't come polished like that... that's my handywork

I went with a NW 90mm over the fast 90mm for one reason.. with the NW one on the car, I don't have to worry about being stuck wide open at the end of the dragstrip

well... then in that case, I'll cut you a deal, you can be the first customer. If it comes out good, you get to take pic's and pimp it around the net for me.

I have a fast and have problems with it sticking all the time. (Not wide open but enough to keep the revs up. Have to tap the throttle to get it to close when driving on the street) Even with the bracket that comes with the Holley to change the angle of the throttle cable I still have this problem. Had to put a spring on it to get it to work right and it looks like crap if you ask me. Go with anything but the fast.
