Not really any horsepower gain. But when I changed to them (plugs NGK)
engine seemed to run alot smoother and fired up quicker. As for the wires again no real gain in HP. Stockers are actually pretty good although I did change mine too. Just my .02 worth.

Over 50K miles, the plugs are heavily worn and need to be replaced. Any noticeable gain would be bringing you back to stock power levels. The stock gap is 0.060" and after 27K miles, mine were in excess of 0.070". So, you can see there could be a drop in power with those kind of gaps. The stock wires are alright and is dabateable on whether there is a increase in power.

yep, msd 8.5 wires
the stock plugs for white as hell on the tip and so were the wires. HP had to go up. i felt a very noticable increase in acceleration.

Run better YES HP go up from what you already had 99.999999% NO.... and if it did nothing you would feel in terms of power but I bet the car runs a hell of alot smoother and is some what better on gas.Just my.02

If your original stuff was all worn out then yeah you would feel the difference. But if you went from new stock plugs/wires to new aftermarket plugs/wires, you wouldnt notice a difference.

yes... the original/stock plugs and wires wire burnt out! my question is has anyone dynoed their car b4 and after to see what the gain in hp is? i really don't want to have to pay $$ for a dyno run that's all.. 5? 10rwhp? remember.. plugs were whiter than a ghost lol

the gains would probly be within the margin of error on a dyno. you can go up and down like 10 hp between dyno runs.

my buddy went 120k on the stock plugs and wires. swapped them for new ngk tr55 plugs and factory replacement wires - no gain whatsoever in the 1/4. the car idled smoother, that was the extent of "gains"..
