I currently have LM with stock headers but want to get LT's Off road y, should i just keep the LM, or install the LM2 with the headers, or should i go a different route.

LM2 + LT's sound great to me. I've done alot of cross-country driving on this setup as well. It resonates a bit around 70-75mph.
Still sets off car alarms on startup too

if i was u i would go with the lm2. i had slp LTs, o/r xpipe and LM2 catback on my 98 mustang and it sounded great, i got so many compliments about it. i had the lm1 and it was CRAZY loud and raspy but once i changed to the lm2 it just sounded real good. im goin to go the same route long tubes and lm2 on my ss.

mustangs sound nice b/c they don't have a y pipe... same goes with p/u trucks and vettes... ever notice that they are louder and throatier.... more pipes underneath...
i have the original loud mouth on my car and get compliments all the time at shows...

edelbrock long tubes
ory
lm II
imo sounds amazing i love it
and a friend has longtubes, off road x or h pipe and lmII on his 02 gt and he say its amazing and get alot of man that sounds good, and so do it.
taking a cruse on the high way at 65mph in 6th its got its nice exhaust note not to loud at all but you hear it . when you on the gas more the 30% you know its their, wot sounds great, and free reving has that lil bit of rasp up top.
another plus is crusing at 65 on the high way then having some one trying to race you cuz its not to loud or intimaditing, then down shifting to 3rd and that roar shows it face is prtey sweet

I have pacesetters, original LM1, TSP catted Y. I love it. It's loud, but not obnoxiously loud if you drive normally and shift under 2k. At WOT, it sound absolutely heavenly, at least to me.
