What are the advantages / disadvantages of this on a true dual system? Who has what... THanks!

Pro: Its cheap and easy to do.

Cons: No pressure equilization between the banks and not as much scavenging.

A ypipe is different from True Duals...ypipe is the factory configuration, 2 - 1 - 2.

Adding an xpipe to true duals adds scavenging, so the exhaust gases are actually pulled from each bank of gases with the firing order. This increases tq to more than if you didn't have an xpipe.

Without a xpipe you have no scavenging. An Hpipe does not scavenge hardly if at all.

Oh, so a xpipe is better than a H.? I was always told that x pipe is for HP and H pipe is for sounds.

One is really not better than the other. It's a preference really. If you want all the possible power you can get, go with an X. If you don't care about a few ponies and want better sound, go with an H.

This is accurate. Xpipe is more for tq (hp) and hpipe sounds deeper, xpipe has somewhat of an exotic tinge to it.
