Default Header install question

When running without cats, do I still install the rear O2's and just delete the codes using HPtuners or can you leave the rear O2's off the car and delete the codes?

if youre running without cats then there arent o2 bungs in the pipe so you cant plug them in.. just disconnect them and wait to have them tuned out..

Lots of ORY have bungs there anyway (for why I don't know).

You can plug them in, screw them in, and let them read. As long as the codes are deleted, you will have no problems. I didn't have any plugs for my Kooks ORY (with bungs for rear O2's), so I did just that.

Worked out nicely when I picked up my wideband. I simply screwed it into one of the bungs.

Bottom line, when the codes are deleted, it doesn't matter what you do with the rear O2's.

Are you sure those aren't bungs for wideband tuning?

Lots of good replies, thanks.....I have HPtuners and its a 2005 corvette with AR headers. I will mount the O2's and delete the codes for the lack of cats.

Not sure, but it's a possibility. The ones after the cats in the catted systems are fairly worthless I believe. Using O2's even with cats will often set off the light anyway, AND you shouldn't put a wideband after cats. (I don't think).
