Default Extending True Duals out the rear.

I have a lanes true dual setup on my ta, dumping at the axel, i've been toying with the idea of pulling them all the way back out the rear over the axel, i know its been done i've seen pics, however, does anyone have a rough guesstimate of how much it would cost to do so? Im also toying with the idea of pulling the dynomax mufflers off and replacing them with sweet thunders or something equivalent... Anyhow, if anyone has done this and has an idea of price, that would be much appreciated.

In all seriousness, every place has a different price and quality of work. Around my way the price can range from 100-400 to come out the back. It depends on the shop, if it will be crush or mandrel bent. But that is in my area.

Check the true duals sticky. I went under the axle with mine and couldn't have been happier. Cost me $130, and they even installed cats. (I provided cats and tips)

There's info on mine in there, and a link in my sig.

I looked at your car, and i like your setup. Im a little worried about how it will look on my TA though. Does anyone have any pics with the pipes under the axel on a TA? If so plz could you link or post them for me? I spoke with a local shop, and it looks like its gonna cost right at $200 to do this....owch....

I was told by a sponsor that including labor, it would cost about $750 more than true duals dumped before the axle. you have to relocate the panhard bar or something. Don't laugh too hard at me if that's not the name of it. :p

Yeah it looks like the most cost effective way is under the axel, where clearence wont be an issue. For my dual 3" pipes it would cost a huge amount to go over the axel.

I had a Ebay set of 3" true duals, but when I got my UMI adj torque arm it was dragging every three seconds. So, I went and had a whole new custom setup run, under the axle. I absolutely love it now, I don't scrape hardly at all. I'll try to get some pics posted up when I get home tonight....
