Default what do I need for LT's

I want to put some pacesetters on my car and currently have a flowmaster exhaust on it. While I am going to be replacing that cat-back soon, I need to know if I can hook up my cat-back to the headers. do the headers hook up to the stock piping that lead to the cat back? thanks for the answers

If you buy longtubes it will move the cats back. You will also need a new y-pipe. Your catback should match up to the new y pipe.

You will have to get 02 extensions. You will also want to get some 02 simulators, they are not a must but it will trigger a check engine light if you dont get them. I just got my rear ones tuned out.

BTW, the 02 extensiors are for the front 02's. The rear ones are the ones you can use the 02 simulators on or get tuned out.

You're going to want to get a tune anyway, because LT's will throw off your A/F ratio a bit.

You will need an off road y to match, there's alot of complaint about pacesetter's, though tsp is great quality and bolts right up. If you're a cheap *** like me you can make your own extensions they should come with the headers but it takes time. If I were to do it again I would have got the extensions. Alot of people run the stock tune on lt's but it will foul your plugs about every 3k miles, trust me I know. A tune would be recommended unless your planning on any modifications in the near future.

Pacesetters are actually fairly decent headers, I would contact TSP for their offroad y pipe. Catback SHOULD hook up to stock(sliding the ypipe either forward or backwards).

Tune is desireable but is not absolutely nessecary, I would recommend some bosch O2 sensors they tend to lean things out from my experience..

pacesetters are great headers, no leaks for 20k miles so far. get the armor coated version though and off-road y-pipe unless you like true duals, TSP has those as well .

I am looking into true duals also, but dont want them to dump at the axels. I want them to run all the way out. does anyone make those or do I need to have them custom made?

Bassani is the only company that makes True Duals extended over the axle and out the rear. Their Stainless Steel version is around $960 through Vinci HP (sponser) and the aluminized version is a couple hundred dollers less. All other options have to be custom done on the car.

bassani is the only one that i know of that makes it all the way out and over the axle. http://www.vincihighperformance.com/...s1exhaust.html i have it on both cars. you will need to modify it to fit your headers like i did for the wife's car.
