mti rub???

how many people have a problem with their MTI intake rubbing. mine is a carbon fiber one(ordered black one) and it hits right before the 3in outlet.

mine is clear and yes it rubs.

If you have an aftermarket bellow, then that is a common occurance.

I got my MTI Carbon Fiber lid from someone on here. He had a small rub on the top, but not really noticeable. Lets just hope it doesn't rub to much for me.

I don't have a MTI lid but I've heard about problems with them not fitting right and rubbing. It is more than likely if one lid is going to rub then all will rub. My Granatelli rubs even with the stock bellows. Not quite a big problem but that has kept me away from getting a clear lid. I can't imagine that it would stay looking good too long.

well mine is only the lid and filter and it rubs. it may be the carbon fiber they sent me. it has a layer of that fake **** and that may make it taller. i dont have a smooth bellow all stock.

My never rubbed, just today I got my car back from the body shop and theres a good 1/8 inch gap, its also rubbing on the lid to I can't even try and lower the stoppers
