SS bottom of air box ?
SS bottom of air box ? I have a SS oem hood that i want to put on my 2000 z28. Does the SS camaro have a taller air box on the bottom. Like the WS6 does ? Should i cut the holes bigger where the hood meets the air box ? I am just curious because i want to get the same ram air effect as the SS does on my z28.

no the ss didnt get a taller airbox (haha 
) but the SS is **** poor for "ram air" if you wanna get the msot out of it get some weather stripping and put it around the hood opening to seal it to the airbox

But thank you for answering my question. I was also told that it is a good idea to open up the end of the hood for more air ?
for a true ram air effect you'll need to get a kit like the ssra. we're currently in the process of getting a group purchase going but need more support. post here if you're interested and help us out
