Default TSP True Duals.

Who has them?
You like them?
What muffler do you have?
Anybody with a lowered car running it?
Do they hit your floor board at all?
Thanks

I have them.
I like them.
Moroso Spiral Flows (clip in sig)
I am not lowered but I will not be lowering it much when I do, I'll do the heater hose mod on the back and Koni SAs on the front, nothing more than an inch total.

I've got them with the dynomax bullets and love the sound...the way these were designed to bolt-in makes the install is a piece of cake too!

The only downside (this could be with most any true dual setup) is that I am starting to get some vibration from the interior. I was actually fixing to post a thread to see if anyone else has this problem and what they did to fix it. I wonder if a different pair of mufflers would do the trick since I am thinking that it is caused by the drone of the muffler itself...it only happens sometimes at idle or in a low rpm range...

I heard if you have the tips pointed out to the side of the car it will help with the drone.

Mine are on the way.
I love the sound.
Sweet Thunder

I read in one thread that cutting and rewelding the tips at a 45 degree angle will help this out a bit.

Yes, then again my motor rocks around like a bitch. I need poly mounts. It hits when the idle drops low, or when I shut my car off (and the revs just drop to 0).

If they are installed correctly, you will have plenty of clearance from the floorboard and the road...I just barely scraped the elbow under the driver side the first night I installed them, so I went back in and played with the adjustment and quickly resolved the problem. I've had the SLP Bilstein/Eibach kit as well as the QA1's on all 4's w/front drag springs and I dont think I have ever scraped the ground...

so would it be safe to say that the drone is what's creating the interior vibration at low rpm's? or could it be something else?

i think so. I had a cut out on my LT1 and the drone and interior vibration was nuts.

I have them with Sweet thunder mufflers, turned the tips slightly to the side as said above. I love them, louder than stock at idle but still docile, and scream at WOT. has some minimal banging on the floor board but then I changed the motor mounts and no more banging.

Ive got the dynomax bullets.. I wouldnt trade them for anything!

I installed them on a lift then lowered the car and placed a jack under the X. I got a great deal of clearance this way. I could, and am still considering, lowering the car.

I get comments atleast once a week on how good the car sounds (oh and the 6 coats of zaino help get it noticed too)

I have them with the Sweet thunders and it sounds awesome! I wouldn't change it for any other setup i have heard. Its very loud, but the drone isn't too bad. I don't do too many long freeway drives though. As far as clearence goes, the only thing i have scraped on are those massive speed bumps. I am also considering lowering the car with some hotckis springs. Do you like them?

I've got them with pro-flo twister mufflers. My car is also lowred on the eibach pro-kit w/ Koni SAs. Yes ground clearance is reduced, but it's not too awfully bad.

yes, i like them a lot. I had gold line's on before, which were to low and very spongy. the hotchkis are firm but yet not to fim. Great Daily Driver spring.
