Default Deleting MAFS....

I'm wanting to go speed density, but not sure what to use to go from lid to throttle body. Would like one solid piece of rubber 4" id, but coming up empty handed. Fernco's won't work, it would have to be like a 3.5" and be like 6.5" long. Just wondering if anyone on here has done this and what they used. Thanks.

I use a 4" rubber hump hose at the TB then a 4" piece of aluminized pipe to a 4"x4" rubber coupler at the lid.

I might just have to use something like that. That don't look bad at all. Very nice engine bay, by the way. Thanks.

if your still running a stockish (ie. not a 90mm) i have a 3.5" x 6" red silicone coupler. i bought it for this but it wouldn't fit the 90mm t/b so i got it in 4" ID.

IF you are interested shoot me a PM

We recently did this for a customer from his ATI procharger plenum to his tb. I belive it took about 10" or so of silicone hose.

O.k., so I finally came up with something. Just please don't laugh too hard at what I used. We own a HVAC/R company, so it was free and I had to try it, due to lack of time before tune....I just turned my smooth bellows around and stuck a 4" long piece of 4" flue vent/single wall galvanized pipe into it and then onto my lid using the piece of rubber that sealed the MAF. Anyways, sanded the pipe and used mothers polish to make it look not so much like a piece of "pipe"...LOL. Anyways, let me know what you think about it. I doubt this will be permanent, but it should work to get the car tuned. Thanks.
