Exclamation My camaro cone crazy *HELP*

I'm in the middle of no where right now.
Any way i stoped at the traffic light where my gages light went low and the car start going like it has a cam with the service engine soon Logo came + check gages sing. When i turned of the car i waited for 15 minute and try to start the engine again it wouldnt start. The funny part was when i tried to start the car the trunk opened by it self. What could be the problem

Sounds electrical. Take it somewhere and get the codes scanned to see what they are. Try resetting the computer, see the FAQ on how to. Give some more info, any recent mods added?

Is the car turning over at all? Check the battery connections - when mine died the rear hatch mysteriously popped too.

I dont think so unless he didnt tighten them all the way, wiggle them, see maybe if you got a starter wire laying on the header?

Check your spark plugs and wires and make sure the plugs are all in pretty tight and that all the wires are snap on tight to the end of the plugs. Mine did what you described after my header install as i didnt have the plugs in tight enough and two wires were on loose. It started idling around 500 rpms almost dying out then would fluctuate up and down between 500 rpms and 1000 rpms until it died.

I'm gonna guess his battery just died, mine had those symptoms once. Jumped it, but all the lights were flashing periodically all the way home.

Yup battery. Had the same sort of thing happen to me. When these cars loose voltage, they go nuts!

Also thinking battery since volt gauge went down/check gauges light/clicking trying to start. Wondering about the new alternator too. Before my battery died and popped the hatch noticed the voltage was reading lower at lights with the AC on, ignored it for a couple days - luckily mine died sitting overnight in my driveway and not in the middle of nowhere.
