If you tighten the life out of a butt-joint style, it'll conform. You've gotta put the Vulcan death grip on them though.

yeah i got you, but basically i only have to worry about the Y to I now, since its settled that the lap style is what i need for the header to Y, and to connect the left to right part of the Y (2 parts).
