Default Difference in Header performance.

Longtubes and ORY will be the next mods. Is there any difference in the performance of the Pacesetters, QTP, or Jett Hott longtubes? Who makes the best ORY?

To be honest they all give you almost the same exact performance gains as long as you get logn tubes. I personally prefer the Pacesetter brand. They are much easier to install and the quality is great and the price is terrific!

I've got Hookers and I am very happy with the performance and fit. They were very easy to install. BTW mine aren't coated.

Performance will all be the same. Difference in price will be the material.

Best ORY will be a custom one. It will be cheaper too.

My SLP LTs just came in. Jet hot coating inside and out and its made from stainless steel. NOT cheap tho. The LTs, Y-Pipe, Cats and instalation kit cost me a lil over 1,400.

It really depends on 1.) your budget..... 2.) what you want it made of... 3.) coated or uncoated.... etc.!

Most true longtubes are pretty close. Merge collectors can help with torque.

IMO, SLPs do a little better in the midrange and not as well on the top end compared with other L-T.

Another thing to think about is how long are you plannin on keeping the car. Everyone says get stainless steel b/c they will last longer.... by last longer those can outlast the car. Normal LT's that are coated can still last 5-10 years depending on your area (snow, rain, salt) and honestly im sure very few of us are going to keep our cars for 10 years

If your car is lowered Kooks tuck up real nicely, IMO Kooks has the best ORY. But if your on a budget I would go XS Stainless LT's and Jet Hot ORY.

jet hot and hooker are identical except for o2 bung location, correct? Pacesetter are similar to these but don't have equal length primaries if i remember correctly.
